ABOUT ME
My name is Sarah Huc, a Master graduated Architect and creative seeker from Paris la Villette Architecture School. Throughout my academic career and personal/professional experience, I ended up considering myself as someone with strong aesthetics and conceptual design abilities who always search for opportunities to convey this perception. Studying in architecture allowed me to continuously refine my aptitude to envisioning new paradigms, to work through various and innovative disciplines as to foster a vision beyond common design principles.

Internship
I worked on the PROJECT 73, a 3500 sqm retail development within protected buildings in Paris. This project, part of the cultural and commercial development launched by the Group Lafayette and the BHV is an extension of the Fondation Lafayette Modern project from the Dutch office OMA*AMO. Part of my work involved to make the changes required to the construction license while following on-site the progress of the work. I also worked on several structural details.

I participated to the urban design idea competiton of the famous Park Avenue in New York and mainly manage all the conception phases of the project, from the urban prospect to the final design concept and production.

RFQ Temporary installation «TBD» under the FT. Duquesne Bridge
Pittsburgh, USA
Balmori Team Shortlisted for the final selection process. The main mission of this project was to reclaim, restore and promote Pittsburgh’s riverfronts as the environmental, recreational, cultural and economic hub for the people of this region and futur visitors.

Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial Commission
Sandy Hook, USA
Balmori Team Shortlisted for final selection process. I participated to the open competition for the Permanent Memorial that honors and celebrates those 26 who died as a result of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and serves to provide confort to those who loves and where touched by them.

Competition in collaboration with ODA Architects in NYC.
Urban Strategy to connect the corridor that spans Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Oxford with new visionary typologies that contribuate to provide the homes the area needs, integrating the delivery of infrastructure with high-quality places and developing the environmental and cultural character of the corridor.
